Limited pressing of 1000 copies, following on from guitarist Nels Cline and saxophonist Wally Shoup's blistering encounter with Chris Corsano, this one sees them recruit Seattle-based percussionist Greg Campbell for a live radio session cut for KEXP Radio in Seattle. Cline and Shoup are totally *on* throughout, playing in a intuitive, extra-sensory style that never lets up. Cline will make a dive for a particular note cluster or take a dance around the fret board in slow, luminous sweeps that sound most like his majestic playing on "Lonnie's Lament" from Cline's Interstellar Space album and Shoup is right there every time, catching the most sublime lineaments of melody right between his teeth and pushing the whole group over the top. Amazing playing. Percussionist Campbell gives the music more of a rock kick, with a tough driving style that is uniquely pulverising.
